PLAYING TENNIS SAFELY

Pre Attendance Symptom Check:
Please ensure you have done a pre-attendance assessment of your child for any COVID-19 symptoms using the information on the NHS website before leaving home - view here >
No-one should leave home to participate in tennis if they, or someone they live with, has symptoms of COVID -19, currently recognised as any of:
A high temperature
A new, continuous cough
A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste
The club house is not able to be accessed before, during or after sessions in response to Covid-19 guidance.
Participating children/adults will be able to use the toilet facilities, for juniors this will be appropriately supervised. Where possible please go to the before arriving.
To avoid congestion the club advise you park on the Old Blandford Road and walk players in to the club.
All children and adults are asked to maintain a safe social distance from each other at all times.
Only one parent/guardian is to support a participant to/from the club.
Where possible the sessions will be run across two courts.
Hand sanitizing is to be individually administered at the beginning and at the end of a session.
Coaches will maintain social distancing on & off the court.
Players will be asked to maintain social distancing on & off the court.
Coaches will ensure social distancing is emphasised to participants at the start of each session, and that they are clear on how they should maintain social distancing for each drill before starting it.
Coaches will encourage players to avoid running down balls within an exercise if it could compromise social distancing.
For hygiene reasons, limited extra equipment will not be used in the sessions.
